Bu Gu Zhi Shui (Alcohol tincture) - 50ml, 100ml

For vitiligo. Also effective for alopecia areata. Use with extreme care or not at all in direct sunlight. Patients must monitor themselves very carefully when they use it, initially exposing their skin to no more than 1-2 minutes in direct sunlight to gauge their response (even less in Summer). With experience can have longer exposure.
Expect to see pinking of area before repigmentation (typically staring from follicles).

Wu Mei Shui (Alcohol tincture) - 50ml, 100ml

For vitiligo (although works differently from Bu Gui Zhi Shui Gao, this, without the need of UV light). Less strong than Bu Gu Zhi Shui, so I prescribe it when the sun is strong (although still wise to be careful in direct sunlight, and exercise same caution as for Bu Gu Zhi Shui until the patient gets the measure of it).

Apply with finger twice a day and allow to dry naturally.

Dian Dao Xi Ji (Wash) - 100ml

For the bacterial infection Erythrasma. Apply with finger twice a day and allow to dry naturally.

Bai Bu Shui (Alcohol tincture) - 50ml, 100ml

For rosacea as well as for itching of insect bites & Papular urticaria.

She Chuang Zi Shui (Alcohol tincture) - 50ml, 100ml

For lichen simplex, sub-acute prurigo, prurigo nodularis, and a variety of other pruritic conditions. Use with caution in sun exposed areas as can act as a photo-sensitizer (see Bu Gu Zhui Shui, as same precautions apply).

Apply with finger 2-3 times a day and allow to dry naturally.

Ce Bai Shui (Alcohol tincture) - 50ml, 100ml

Alopecia areata. Apply with finger 2-3 times a day and allow to dry naturally.

Cang Er Zi You (Nose Drops)

Allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. Start with one drop in each nostril. After a week apply two drops to each nostril.

Dian Dao Xi Ji (Wash) - 15ml

For the bacterial infection Erythrasma.

Hei Bu Yao Gao (Ointment) - 60g

Keloid scars. Apply once every 24 hours. Wash off before second application. This is a thick tarry ointment that needs to be kept in a glass jar. The glass jar should be placed in a hot water bath for a short while to make it less viscous in order that it can be applied easily. Once it dries it forms a black skin that can be washed off with water after 24-48 hours.

Cu Pao Fang (Vinegar tincture) - 500ml

For fungal disease of the feet and hands. Soak affected part for 15 minutes once or twice a day. Discard after 2 weeks of use. Use for dry forms of the disease. It should not be used when the skin is broken, as the vinegar will sting (use a water soak rather)

Ti Xuan Ding (Tincture) - 50ml, 100ml

Fungal disease of the body. Apply first, allow to dry naturally, then apply the cream Ti Xuan Shui Gao. Use 2-3 times a day.

Ti Xuan Gao (Ointment) - 30ml, 50ml

Fungal disease of the body. Usually used in conjunction with the tincture Ti Xuan Ding. Use 2-3 times a day.

Yu Xing Gao (Ointment) - 30ml, 50ml

Herpes Simplex. All stages.

Re Dai Chuang Gao (Ointment) - 30ml, 50ml

Herpes Simplex and Herpes Zoster (Use once the blisters have cleared). Can be used for post-herpetic neuralgia.

Rich Vitamin E Cream (Cream) - 30ml, 50ml, 200ml

A simple pure cream, with 10% by weight of vitamin E and no fragrance. Occasionally people with eczema may react badly to Zi Cao Shui Gao so this is prescribed instead as an emollient for dry parched and under nourished skin.

Also used as an effective face and neck cream to moisturise and nourish.

Xue Jie Gao (Ointment) -30ml, 50ml

For Haemorrhoids. Apply 1-2 times a day.
Be aware that all ointments applied to the anal area may cause autosensitisation. Discontinue use if the area becomes inflamed.

Ya Dan Zi You (Oil) - 10ml

Apply to common warts. Occlude with strong tape (Duct tape is ideal) after applying the oil. After 24 hours wash off remaining oil, scrub off any loose skin, and reapply oil and repeat the process daily until the wart clears. It’s very effective for common warts especially if used with internal medicine (can take several weeks to clear).

Try and avoid contact with unaffected skin.
