Li Qin

Li Qin Doctor of Chinese Medicine (Cheng Du, China), ATCM.

Li Qin graduated from the Cheng Du College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1983. Between 1983 and 1996 she worked in hospitals in Si Chuan province in a variety of departments, including Internal medicine, gynecology and fertility where both herbal medicines and acupuncture are extensively used. It was during this time that she developed a strong interest in disorders of gynaecology, menopause and fertility as well as anxiety, depression and stress-related disorders.

Between 1996 and 2000 she worked as a consultant in gynaecology and internal medicine. It was also during this period that she conducted research into the treatment of liver cirrhosis with Chinese herbal medicine.

Li Qin has had had several research papers published in Chinese medical journals. In 2001 she moved to the UK where she has been in full time practice.
